Shrink Wrap International was founded by Red Bickerstaff and Gloria Horne in 1980 as a distributor of shrink wrap and supplies for FPM (Fana, Protect-A-Boat, Mr. Shrinkwrap) of Philadelphia.

Shrink Wrap International was founded by Red Bickerstaff and Gloria Horne in 1980 as a distributor of shrink wrap and supplies for FPM (Fana, Protect-A-Boat, Mr. Shrinkwrap) of Philadelphia.
SWI is one of the originators of boat and large equipment shrinkwrapping. In the early 1980s, they held classes on shrinkwrapping that brought in people from all around the country. We taught many of the people who are still in the industry today. In addition, we trained many boat factories on how to shrinkwrap and protect their boats.
Around 1990, SWI purchased FPM, and then in 1993 FPM relocated from Philadelphia to Gibraltar, Michigan. Shortly after, SWI moved from Gibraltar to Brownstown, Michigan, which is where they still reside today.
In 2012, SWI partnered with Intercept Technologies to create anti-corrosive, anti-rust, anti-mold/mildew Intercept shrink film. No
